Hippocrates Institute West Palm Beach Antony Chatham continues in this live call answering questions submitted by you, the listeners.
Hippocrates Institute West Palm Beach is taking people back to a sane way of living: with what we eat, how we think. Learning ways to manage stress and is a vital part of this.
Antony begins with something Dr. Brian Clement, the Director of Hippocrates Health Institute often says, “I know why you are here: either you are scared or you are enlightened.”
Many people wait until they have a serious illness to attend the program at Hippocrates West Palm Beach, while others want to live a life with optimum health.
If fear is helping you to do something positive, that is not a bad thing. Of course, if you’re reading this and you have no serious illnesses, don’t wait. I actually had someone contact me recently that said he was doing the research so he would know where to go when he got cancer.
Why not live in a way that you may never have to experience a serious illness?
I’ve been listening to the CD you made for me and following the Hippocrates diet, but I’m not seeing the results I want in my cervical cancer treatment. How can I clear some of these angry thoughts and regain faith and a positive attitude?
One way is to say to yourself, this is my challenge now. Not getting the results I want in my cervical cancer treatment – this is my challenge right now, and I’m going to make the best of it.
From the moment we are born, it is true we are going to die – but we don’t go around thinking about dying all the time.
Any illness can come with some challenges, uncomfortable, painful and difficult to deal with. But if we pay attention there are still many things that are positive – we want to focus on them, focus on the strengths we have.
You could redo the list of strengths and what is still working for you. In my practice I use a combination of progressive relaxation, guided meditation (or imagery) and affirmations. I will then add the strengths you’ve shared as affirmations.
When we are ill, we all tend to focus on the negative; we need to shift that and see what is good in our lives, why people like us, in what ways the cervical cancer treatment is working, what positive changes you are seeing from the Hippocrates diet.
Listen as Antony explains it better than I have in this brief synopsis of what he said. If you’ve found it helpful, please take a minute to leave a comment thanking him.
