I have a question from Teresa, she says I have a lot of intestinal parasites in my colon and some that interfere with digestion and elimination. They’re telling her to eat acidic foods, and we of course are telling her the opposite.
Brian: I wonder who they are – are they aliens? Probably well educated nutritionists.
Me: But is it possible for the body to be too alkaline?
Dr. Brian Clement from Hippocrates Health Institute: sure it is, I know people who are on an all fruit diet – which is why they age prematurely, why their hair falls out and turns colors because they’re literally on too alkaline a diet. But it’s really hard to get too alkaline. You have to work really really hard, be an extremist in some ways to do it.
If you just eat healthy food and in most part it doesn’t even have to be total raw food; those foods inherently are balanced – 4/5 alkalinity and 1/5 acidity.
But there are other factors that create acid and alkalinity: emotionality. If you’re stressed all the time and upset and worried, you’re literally pumping out adrenaline through your body and that reacts with normal hormones and can create an acid condition. That’s why many times listeners out there when you were shocked you felt indigestion and upset stomach – that was a hormone rush you were getting from that. Certainly that’s one way to do it.
Getting back to the core question, would you put acidity to kill intestinal parasites, no you need poison to kill parasites. There is only one way to kill intestinal parasites, to poison the parasite.
Preferably the poison would be an herbal poison and there’s some good ones out on the market – we have one but there’s some good ones all over the world. Ideally you would do this with an alternative doctor who’s experienced with this, who understands what they’re up to and what they’re doing. As a matter of fact, food may make the parasites happy so you gotta just poison these things.
There are cases where we literally have to resort to pharmaceutical medicine, certain kinds of intestinal parasites that we’ve all learned over a long time – before I was born they were learning some of these things – literally require a really dynamic super strong medicine. The answer is yes it’s not good to take a pharmaceutical but is it good to have parasites? With a competent doctor that knows what he’s up to, this is a decision that he can make for you. But I can tell you getting rid of the intestinal parasites is at the top of the list.
