Hippocrates diet, children and pregnancy

by Hippocrates Health Educator

Naomi from California, a very enthusiastic lady asks what can you say about the Hippocrates diet, Hippocrates Health lifestyle and pregnancy, childbirth and children?

Dr. Brian Clement from Hippocrates Health Institute: I can speak with a lot of enthusiasm myself on that: we have 4 children we brought up this way. I’m a grandfather now from one of my children who is in her mid-twenties at this point. We have a 12 year still at home, we have a 30 year old, we have a 23 year old and all flourished throughout my wife’s pregnancy and throughout their youth and now in their young adulthood. I’m watching my grandchild flourish due to the Hippocrates health lifestyle.

It is almost sinful for me to watch the way most people eat when they’re pregnant. I want to walk over to people when I see them pregnant and I see them eating bad food, even when they’re eating what they consider good food, it’s bad – and tell them that this has in some cases a permanent ripple effect on your child.

In my science journal that just came out a month ago they’re doing prison research on bad food and showing criminality from eating junk food. Are we in a little way going to give that type of mentality to our child if we eat bad food?

God forbid you drink alcohol or smoke on top of it, which I see mothers doing. God forbid you eat too much sugar even it it’s “natural” sugar because you’re weakening the cellular water of their body, tissue mass, bone densities, all of these things we know for sure from sugar consumption.

So enthusiastically grasp a proven living food diet like the Hippocrates diet and I’m not here to bash other living food programs but most of them are born out of enthusiasm, not born out of clinical research and history. Most of them are not checking people with blood profiles for the rest of their life and watching medical reports and collecting data and doing research on them.

Everything is an improvement on the western diet, don’t get me wrong. But is your objective as a mother to do the best thing you can for yourself and your children? I would hope the answer is a resounding yes.

Follow this. You can read a little booklet that Anna Maria and I wrote a number of years ago called “Children the Ultimate Creation”. Also get a book that’s out of print that’s a brilliant book written by a colleague Dr. Michael Clapper called “Vegan Children”. And there’s an ongoing interest on children and child rearing so there will be more publications.

If you can attend Hippocrates Health Institute that will be wonderful for you and your future family too.
