IBS Natural Treatment & Hypochlorhydria

by Hippocrates Health Educator

Mary Ellen who is a member of our Hippocrates Health at home -the online program, asked the following on IBS natural treatment (irritable bowel syndrome) – how long can it take to heal, what products do you recommend in addition to the Hippocrates lifestyle, and is hypochlorhydria connected with it?

Dr. Brian Clement from Hippocrates Health Institute: IBS is not something you can put your finger on and say there is a specific time period that one’s going to recover. It is a catch basin, a term with a catch basin of disorders. It could include diverticulosis, diverticulitis, chromes disease, colitis, whatever it may be called. It could be just an inflamed bowel. But irritable bowel syndrome is placed in this large category.

Determined on how chronic it is, how long you’ve had it, how deep it is, how much it’s affected the organ systems of the body – all of these things are the factors that would eventually tell us how long it may take to recover from it.

But let’s give some general sweeping ideas. The worst cases I’ve seen – I can never forget the case of the young man who came from the Northeastern part of the US. He came because his cousin collected money and when he was on his way in for his forty-seventh operation for his colon, he was young – I think he was less than 30 years old. His cousin said no, go to Hippocrates Institute instead – for an IBS natural treatment.

Within a matter of just a short time, he in his particular case came off his medicine, the bleeding stopped by the second week he was here at Hippocrates Institute and he had completely reversed his irritable bowel syndrome problem, which was obviously very chronic in his case, in a matter of 5 months after that.

So we have those heroic cases, and that’s an exceptional case let me say this to you. I see other people who didn’t have all these operations, obviously had a much more functional colon and small intestine and it took them 3 years. Now it was better and better and better and better, but by 3 years they could look back and say I don’t have any inflammatory condition, I pass my bowels properly.

This is simply with an IBS natural treatment consisting of living the Hippocrates lifestyle fully. As you can see there is such variation on this, it’s impossible to say exactly on the time.

The disorder you are speaking about, hypochlorhydria, can have something indirectly to do with IBS, irritable bowel syndrome. It really is more of a mineral imbalance that has to do with the electrolyte and hydration of the human body. So it’s an indirect connection just as everything is indirectly involved with digestion and elimination of the body.
