Vitamin Deficiency and How It Causes Disease

by Hippocrates Health Educator

Let’s talk about vitamin deficiency. In the section of nutritional supplements exposed, where you mention Myth 1 that people don’t think we need nutrition supplements – you also talked about how if we don’t get the nutrients we need, we can’t function optimally and different studies – for instance the low levels of vitamin B5, B3 and calcium carbonate are linked to arthritis, and they’ve found many diseases linked to deficiencies.

Dr. Brian Clement: I absolutely after many years doing this work do not think there is a disease that the major cause of disease if not the total cause is nutritional or vitamin deficiency.

What’s really interesting before we discovered the first nutritional supplement, a young research physician in London England in 1905 did that and he discovered B1. He was looking at that because a chronic disease at that point in culture and society was beri beri.

He was trying to find a way to resolve beri beri. It can kill you, by the way. He found on the side of whole grain brown rice what he isolated and called B1.

Within 30 to 40 years, we discovered that this was not an isolated nutrient, it was part of a family called the B complex vitamins family.

Many diseases are 100% like Beri beri – a deficiency. Pellagra – another deficiency, and yet if you go to the medical community, it’s almost 100% likely they will give you an antibiotic which has nothing to do with adding nutrition and in fact will reduce the little nutrition you have in you by wiping it out of the body.

So, yea, this is a very serious thing. Cancer – here in the US alone, the disease control center has stated that they think upwards of 80% of all cancer is lifestyle created.

Guess what? I think that 98% of all heart attacks and strokes are lifestyle created. Eating the wrong things that we consider foods, that we fill ourselves up with and not having the right things that have the nutrition we need. You can get 100% natural supplements from Hippocrates Health Supplements.

I don’t think there’s a disease – diabetes – none of these diseases – that are not directly related to vitamin deficiency and over-eating something that doesn’t have nutrition that gives us fat, weight, etc.
