Negative Effects of Caffeine on The Body: Eliminate or Reduce?

by Hippocrates Health Educator

The negative effects of caffeine on the body are becoming more known.

I know. It might sound radical to eliminate or drastically reduce caffeine. Heck I love my coffee: the aroma, the taste.

But just try it for at least 21 days and then see if you feel it’s worth continuing to at drastically reduce or even eliminate your intake of caffeine.

And not just coffee. You’ll also find it in the form of sodas, energy drinks, energy bars, you name it.

Read further and you’ll see why this might be a REALLY GREAT IDEA for you.

You will find it much easier to do IF you focus on what you
are adding to your life rather than on what you are giving up.

As an example, I once tried to cut out drinking coffee and I found
myself thinking about NOT drinking coffee all day long. Of course,
that only made it harder and in the end I ended up drinking more
than usual.

But when I focused on changing my lifestyle for the better: eating
organic fresh veggies and exercising; when I really focused on what
I was ADDING to my life, I didn’t think about the coffee as much and it
just fell away.

By the way, I learned at the
Hippocrates Institute
one of the much lesser known negative effects of caffeine on the body: that it destroys the enzyme lipase which breaks down fats.

So, if you’re struggling with extra weight that just won’t go away
this may be a cause of it.

Additionally, coffee is highly acidic and the body must find a way to
neutralize the high acid before elimination. It will even rob the
bones of calcium to reduce the acidity. Excess acids can end up
stored in the body just like the undigested fats.

The health effects of caffeine occur in even organic decaf coffee. You have to deal with both the stimulant effect and the high acidity. Give your body some alkaline greens instead.

Any time you want to make a change, focus on what you are adding to
your life, the great good you are giving yourself.

And you may discover a powerful new way to make lifestyle changes for the better.

So how about it?

Can you step up to a 10-day challenge during which time you eliminate or
drastically reduce the caffeine in your diet?

Try it, and let me know how it goes.

Oh, and if you have no issues with caffeine, well, then good for you. You won’t have to deal with all the negative effects of caffeine on your body!

I’ll be sharing another challenge with you soon that just might apply to you.

And remember to let me kn ow how ti goes. Just leave me a comment here.

  • J.J COMER
HI JUST TO ASK COULD THERE BE ACCOMADTION NEER THE HELTH CENTER
  • J.J.
Yes. You can find accommodation near the center. However, it's not worth it for the most part. Consider the following savings analysis on the 3 Week Program: the day student rate, which means you find your own accommodation near the center, is $4,530. The least expensive level to stay at the Institute is $5,100 for a shared room. The difference is $570. There is no way you can find accommodation anywhere near the Institute for $570 for 21 days/3 weeks. The least expensive I know of is a room at someone's house for $50/night. That's a total of $1,050 for the 21 days. You would need to rent a car, and the hassle of commuting everyday is not worth it especially during a detox.
By the way, just in case you're not aware of it there is a way for you to save up to $1,500 off the cost of the 3 Week program at Hippocrates Health Institute by going with a group. Click here.
    Thanks for asking. Great question.
  • Great article!

I had no idea that caffeine does that to Lipase! Wow, my British relatives who drink 50 odd cups a tea per day and who often talk about wanting to lose weight won't like what I have to say now :p hehehe...
  • Zak,

You're going to be blown away by the stuff you learn at Hippocrates Institute. And it's ALL based on decades of results with real people. You are in for the time of your life!
We are so happy that you are coming. See you soon!

Thank you for this article. Currently, I have been off caffeine for just about 10 days, so this information is quite timely. However, I am on vacation so it is easy to stay away from it. How will I do it when I'm back at work with the hectic schedule and once-a-day coffee breaks?
  • Hi Roy,

Not sure if you meant it as a rhetorical question since in the end you have to make it happen if you really want the health benefits.

Perhaps you could substitute herbal tea if it is the habit of going to the break that makes it hard.

If you're doing it for the pick-me-up, you really need to start your day with some health giving energy, like a green drink or shot of wheatgrass.

Regular ongoing energy is much better than the highs and lows induced by caffeine and sugar.

Are there group discounts for a 1 week visit?
  • No Glenda. There are no group discounts for a one week visit, but as your referring agent I will make available to you some bonuses that will be worth some savings.
