Candida Albicans: Is Fruit Really Healthy For You?

by Hippocrates Health Educator

Learn about candida albicans and eating fruit in this short audio.

I was raised enjoying the different sweet tastes of fruit. Living in tropical climates most of my life has always given me access to lots of fruit.

Then I met a leading raw foodist who taught that I could eat as much fruit as I wanted. And guess what happened to me when I ate a raw foods diet mostly composed of fruit?

I developed low blood sugar. It wasn’t until I attended the Hippocrates Health Institute and heard Dr. Brian Clement teach about the effect of  sugar in fruit on my body that I understood how way off I was in my raw foods diet.

He explains we all actually have candida albicans in our body even if we have no candida symptoms. The problem is that we have a weaker immune system than we did 25 years ago.

What you need to do is a simple candida cleanse: cut out all sugars, including natural ones like fruit, and eat a diet rich in oxygen. This comes from green veggies.

As soon  as I stopped eating fruit and started the living foods program that is taught at Hippocrates Institute my health took off. I’ve been off fruit 98% for 18 months and I feel awesome.

I totally understand the danger of sugar, even from a natural source like fruit, for my health.

Listen to Brian Clement teach more about this. It’s fascinating.

And leave me your comments below. I really want to know your honest opinion about the material you discover here.

    Hi Doug,

You can get plenty of calories because the Hippocrates diet is high in good carbohydrates. But when you’re trying to gain weight, it takes a bit more than the diet.

I asked this question to Anna Maria Clement: listen to what she says,

so-dr clement recommends fat intake at 5-10%.protein about the same.and then no more than about 15%fruit.now let’s address those whose problem is underweight.my question is-is their such a thing as minimal caloric intake to maintain normal weight and bodily function on the hippocrates diet? and if so,what is it? even if it’s say 1000 calories-i’m not clear how it is possible to get these calories on this low fat/low glycemic diet. please help. much tx.
